When you ask him about WOOD IQ Dan Pruteanu, the firm's director, says they're just starting out, but they're not beginners. He has 14 years' experience in the business and a visible passion for the cars he sells, CNCs clearly his favorites. He understands that this is an area where it is very important to build a relationship of trust with the customer and he is willing not to force that trust. He wants to build a brand that signifies integrity and excellence in the eyes of the customer and is in no hurry to do it because he needs to do it on solid foundations. But it takes every opportunity to demonstrate its competence and reliability, and BIFE-SIM 2018 is one of them. At the stand WOOD IQ you will find, among other machines and tools, a CNC router with 3-axis milling - 2030Pro Act, which you will also see at work. Until then - a brief introduction.
2030Pro ACT - 3-axis CNC router
Processing centre CNC Router 2030Pro ATC on 3 axes is designed, built and configured in fixed horizontal plane and movable portal to perform linear cutting and multiple milling and drilling operations. It is a CNC under own brand - WOOD IQ - made of strong, reliable and quality components. It has a very robust structure which allows high precision machining. The structure supports the nesting table, the linear units and the control mechanisms for moving the mobile portal in the longitudinal direction (Y-axis).
The 'nesting' table is made of phenolic material with grooves on the X-Y axes that allow optimal clamping of the plate, eliminating any possibility of displacement during work. The movements of the moving parts are carried out on linear guide type units with prismatic profile guides in treated steel and recirculating ball bearings, thus guaranteeing safe and highly precise movement.
Movement on the 3 axes X, Y and Z is computer controlled by brushless hybrid servomotors, capable of defining and maintaining position in the event of a power failure.
The CNC router with 3-axis milling has the following basic features:
- heavy-duty type beater;
- mobile portal;
- nasting table allowing mechanical fixing of the material;
- 2 vacuum pumps with a total capacity of 400 m³/h;
- electrospindle with 9 kW motor;
- 8-position linear tool magazine;
- 4 Delta 1000 W servo motors;
- 6 reference limiters for x-y axes
- 3 planetary gearboxes;
- cutter length detector;
- centralized lubrication;
- industrial computer;
- 3 perimeter sensors;
- laser projector;
- material thickness sensor;
- licensed CAD-CAM software - VCarve Pro.
The CNC can be easily controlled by remote control. Until you see it live at the fair you can get an idea of how it works by watching the movie below.
Other types of machines you can find at Wood IQ
Although Dan Pruteanu specializes in CNCs, they are not the only machines you will find at WOOD IQ. The company is addressed to all small and medium-sized companies in the wood and furniture industry with classic machines under its own brand or from traditional manufacturers such as Robland and Griggio.
The company is first and foremost a team of specialists who are very good with machines. They are able to create them, and the machines under the brand WOOD IQ in many factories across the country are proof. It's about passion and the joy of seeing cars come out of your hand that can be compared, both in technical performance and durability, with recognized brands in the industry.
But it's not just about technical skills. The partnership relationship with customers is built with care and a stated desire that the machines they sell reach the right customer in the shortest possible time and at the best price. Dan Pruteanu says they are called WOOD IQ not just because they sell smart woodworking machines, but because they sell them in a smart way.
Representatives WOOD IQ is waiting for you at BIFE-SIM 2018, from September 12-16, in hall B1, stand 119.
