I think I've told you before that I don't like walking around the mall or going to stores to buy clothes or shoes. Hammer HNC 47.82

The Hammer HNC 47.82 CNC is this year's Austrian production. It seems that at the Felder Gruppe factory near Innsbruck, the pandemic has stimulated creativity. It's a 4-axis CNC, the 3 classic axes - X, Y and Z - with the fourth allowing lathe-like machining around the axis. There are actually 2 models, both 4-axis, the difference between them being that one has the milling unit as standard (2.2 kW electro-spindle), while the the other is chosen from the available options of the router engine.

Despite its small size the Hammer HNC 47.82 is very stable and rigid ensuring repeatable results. The aluminum machining table with T-slot grooves allows simple and easy clamping of parts and accessories. Clamping fixtures from the Hammer range can be used or some you can make yourself. The machining dimensions of the table are 825 x 479 mm and the height of the workpiece can be max. 160 mm.

With the CNC you can do simple milling, milling/routing and relief milling and profiling on wood. Small and delicate workpieces can be machined with fineness and accuracy. As an option, the machine can be equipped with a height-adjustable router exhaust hood with 32 mm extraction connection, keeping the work area clean at all times.

Hammer HNC 47.82 is delivered fully assembled, lubricated and calibrated. It can be used as soon as it has been unpacked and connected to a power supply and the computer that will operate it.
