Change at the top of LIGNA: Hendrik Rawe, the new coordinator of the world's largest trade fair for the wood industry

Deutsche Messe AG, the organizer LIGNA - the world's largest international trade fair for the wood industry and woodworking technologies, has announced the appointment of Hendrik Rawe (34) as Head of Department for the portfolio which includes LIGNA and three other major fairs INTERSCHUTZ, parts2clean and SurfaceTechnology GERMANY.

As of November 1, 2024, Rawe is coordinating the strategy for these events under the leadership of Arno Reich, Senior Vice President of the "Trade Fair & Product Management" division at Deutsche Messe. For the LIGNA community, it is important to note that Stephanie Wagner retains her role as project manager, thus ensuring continuity in the technical organization of the fair.

Hendrik Rawe brings to his new position a strong background in trade fair management and digital transformation, gained during his time at Koelnmesse, where he has been working since 2015. With a Master's degree in Marketing and Sales Management, he has distinguished himself with significant contributions in the development of new event formats and digital transformation program management.
