HOLZ-HANDWERK 2026 announces a promising start to registrations with key industry players returning

HOLZ-HANDWERK, the European exhibition dedicated to woodworking technologies, is gearing up for a new edition in 2026, after the registration phase started under the best of auspices, according to the organizers.

Under the motto "Discover. Experience. Do." (Discover. Experience. Do.), HOLZ-HANDWERK will open its doors to carpenters, joiners and furniture manufacturers from March 24-27, 2026, in Nuremberg, Germany. The event will take place, as usual, in parallel with FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, the exhibition dedicated to the window, door and façade sector.

The registration process for exhibitors began in January 2025. Many exhibitors from 2024 and previous years are confirming their loyalty to the fair. Of particular importance is the return of key market players for the 2026 edition.

"The foundations have been laid for a successful HOLZ-HANDWERK 2026. We are very pleased with the return and loyalty of our exhibitors. With their innovations and new products, they make visiting the fair a unique experience and actively contribute to shaping the industry. It is important and trend-defining to look into the future together, exchange ideas and connect with each other," says Stefan Dittrich, Director of HOLZ-HANDWERK.

Dr. Bernhard Dirr, Managing Director of the VDMA Woodworking Machinery Association, adds, "As VDMA, we are very proud that German and European machine and tool manufacturers have made a clear commitment to participate in the future of HOLZ-HANDWERK. We assume that the investments made through the German government's economic stimulus package will contribute to significantly improved framework conditions for 2026."

Preliminary list of exhibitors and registration opportunities

A first overview of exhibiting companies at HOLZ-HANDWERK 2026 is already available on the official event website. It shows a strong presence from the machinery, software, power tools and suppliers/accessories sectors. Interested companies still have the opportunity to register their stand space on the website https://www.holz-handwerk.de/en/exhibit.

HOLZ-HANDWERK Arena - a new multifunctional space

For the 2026 edition, the organizers are preparing an expanded support program. The new HOLZ-HANDWERK Arena will be a multifunctional space that will host meetings, presentations, panel discussions and best practice examples.

"We want to provide the industry with a practical-oriented stage," says Dittrich. "The HOLZ-HANDWERK Arena will create ideal conditions for presenting future-oriented trends and technologies."

Continued collaboration with FENSTERBAU FRONTALE

HOLZ-HANDWERK will take place for the 22nd time on 24-27 March 2026 and is organized by the VDMA Association for Woodworking Machinery and NürnbergMesse GmbH. Co-sponsor of the event is the Bavarian Carpentry Association (FSH Bayern).

Preparations for a successful start of HOLZ-HANDWERK in co-location with FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026 are already in full swing. Many key players have already registered for FENSTERBAU FRONTALE as well, with the exhibition space for this exhibition already booked to a good extent.

In 2024, both fairs recorded a total of approximately 75,000 visitors and 973 exhibitors from the woodworking, window, door and facade construction, woodworking, window, door and facade construction sectors. As in previous editions, both fairs can be visited simultaneously with a single ticket.
