First edition of LIGNA.Innovation Network<\/a> starts today, Monday, September 27, 2021. From September 27-29, the LIGNA.Innovation Network will connect international companies, suppliers and beneficiaries, promote dialog around the topics transforming the woodworking industry. The new Expo, Conference and Networking format is organized by Deutsche Messe Hannover together with the VDMA Woodworking Machinery Association.<\/p>\n

More than 110 national and international companies will present their products and applications, provide information about concrete solutions via streaming and video chat. Companies such as Biesse, B\u00fcrkle, Dieffenbacher, Homag, Siemens, Siempelkamp and Weinig will be there. Networking possibilities will allow visitors to get in touch directly with exhibitors as well as other participants. All in the EXPO<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two-day conference program with more than 80 speakers from all over the world also offers new formats to learn trends and initiate contacts. It will be broadcast live from the Hannover Exhibition Center.<\/p>\n

LIGNA.Digital Forum<\/a> will focus on transforming wood processing through digitalization and networking. Another topic is dedicated to construction processes with prefabricated wood products. The agenda includes presentations and discussions on topics such as automation and efficient manufacturing processes for timber construction and ways of networking.<\/p>\n

Under Wood Industry Summit digital<\/a>, discussions are around the processing of green materials. The experts will present the economic and technical innovations resulting from the use of new technologies to process wood and wood components, the most important renewable resource for new materials and uses.<\/p>\n

Wooden boats will not be neglected either. In \"Spotlight Handwerk<\/a>\" (Spotlight Craft), experts will offer suggestions on various topics such as asbestos and health and safety in the workplace, digital measurement in commerce or digitization as training via video stream and chat.<\/p>\n

In addition, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, Holzbau Deutschland will present the German Timber Construction Award 2021 at LIGNA.Forum digital.<\/p>\n

On September 29, 2021, the Digital Printing Association's (DIPA) Digital Surface Design Symposium will be broadcast live as a hybrid event. Under the motto \"Create your own surface\", experts will highlight current trends for high-quality surface design and talk about their experiences.<\/p>\n
