The organization, the quality networking, the \"heated\" but super relaxed atmosphere, the enthusiasm of the participating companies and the tons of information offered for free to those interested were the strong points of this event that I reached thanks to Vlad Liteanu from Litarh.<\/p>\n

What is the nZEB Roadshow caravan<\/span><\/h4>\n

The nZEB Roadshow Caravan - an event about nZEB and near-zero energy homes, bringing together experts from the fields of construction and energy efficiency, suppliers of solutions and technologies for realizing energy efficient buildings. A place for expert-level discussions on the nzeb standard, energy efficient and passive houses, innovative materials and solutions used to achieve the nzeb standard in construction.<\/p>\n

In case you didn't know, there is a European directive that obliges us to build near-zero energy buildings. Yes, it obliges us, but it's in everyone's interest because it forces us to build more comfortable and healthier homes. And beyond this obligation, it teaches us how to consume resources more intelligently and responsibly in order to build comfortable and sustainable homes the right way. And if we also take into account the last few months, which have been quite a stinging reality, the direction given by nZEB is a natural one. And with that in mind, wouldn't it be better to have a near-zero energy home? But how, with what and with whom?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, this was also the aim of the Caravan: to inform, to offer advice, to present effective solutions to reach the nZEB standard and therefore to build better. It is a free entry event for all those who want to find out how they can have a better, more efficient home, how they can reduce their energy costs or how they can join the professionals in the field. And especially for those who work in any construction specialization, for those who (are) building houses, renovating, refurbishing, re-, re-, re-, re- ...<\/p>\n

In Iasi there was an inflation on mp of specialists, of \"promoters of energy efficiency in buildings\" from whom we could learn about nZEB, prefabricated structures, efficient houses, how to build sustainably and efficiently in the quality standards of 2022. Specialized firms in the field of construction and energy efficiency have gathered under the organization of the Pro-nZEB Cluster to inform, advise and present effective solutions in the field.\u00a0<\/span>For 4 days there were workshops, presentations and discussions, sessions on nZEB principles, workshops to prepare professionals for nZEB, practical demonstrations and site tours of low energy houses. Those preparing to join the professionals in the field could also participate in dedicated workshops.<\/p>\n

Those who went to the zZEB Caravan received advice from the best specialists in the field, engineers, designers, energy auditors and passive house builders. They discovered solutions and technologies to the nzeb standard. They could learn about prefabricated structures for house construction, energy performance of buildings, heat pumps, ventilation solutions with heat recovery and renewable energy, thermosystems and insulation, air sealing and thermal bridging solutions, door and window fitting solutions to passive house standard, energy building compliance, how to insulate the house, how to seal it, HOW TO BUILD IT RIGHT.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Low-energy house tour and open discussions<\/span><\/h4>\n

As times change, so must the way we build. International efforts are being made to reduce the environmental impact of the way we build, and wood is a very good solution. Litarh has been building prefabricated wooden houses in many European countries for years, and Romania has recently joined them. During the Caravan, those interested in low-energy and passive houses were given the opportunity to visit a low energy house construction site near Ia\u0219i and to participate in discussions with those \"responsible\" for the project - owner, architect (MIOLK), structural engineer (INGINERIE CREATIV\u0102) and builder (LITARH). Visitors took advantage of this rare opportunity to have all four of them in one place to launch discussions and ask questions.<\/p>\n

About the organizers and the next city where the nZEB Caravan will arrive<\/span><\/h4>\n

The event was organized by the pRO-nZEB Cluster team, with the support of the Moldova branch, within the nZEB Roadshow project.<\/p>\n

pRO-nZEB cluster<\/span>\u00a0is a non-profit association, which includes companies in the field of construction and energy efficiency of buildings, established with the aim of promoting the concept of nearly zero energy buildings (nZEB) in Romania, in order to reduce to zero the greenhouse gas emissions generated by the use of buildings. \"The Caravan nZEB Roadshow<\/span> is an information campaign to reduce the negative impact caused by global warming and rising energy prices.\" says Horia Petran, President of pRO-nZEB Cluster Romania.<\/p>\n
