I tried to identify some common furniture rules that interior designers follow in their projects. They're worth keeping in mind if you're planning a home interior redesign. They are not mandatory, they are about vision, approach, inspiration.

It approaches the room space as a city, with different heights and proportions, combinations of shapes, sizes and colors.

According to this approach, it would mean avoiding buying or arranging interiors with pieces of furniture or decorative objects of the same size. If they were all the same size, either all small or all large, the room would look cluttered.

Avoid putting dark-colored furniture in small spaces.

There is a tendency to choose heavy, dark and bulky furniture. About this, designers say it's one of the most inappropriate choices for such spaces and yet one of the most common mistakes. Such a choice makes the room look smaller and cramped on top of that. Light, light-reflecting colors such as white, cream, gray or pastel shades are suitable in such rooms.

No matter how much you like dark-colored, sober furniture, try not to put it in small rooms

Don't use one or too few lighting sources.

Lighting is important for any space. Lighting decisions should be integrated into the design from the start. Too little, too little or too much light can induce discomfort in exchange for a pleasant atmosphere.

But the atmosphere in a room is not created by bright light but by the diversity of lighting sources. Different models and heights of floor lamps, floor lamps, floor lamps, table lamps are used, all with warm light. Warm light seems to warm up the space and induces a feeling of relaxation and intimacy. The white, fluorescent neon-like fluorescent light creates a cold and irritating atmosphere.

Comfort, relaxation, privacy

Don't fill the space with too big a table.

In many homes, the big table in the middle of the room is used, and you can only squeeze around it. Try to imagine it in its intended space to see if it would have the same effect. To do this, consider the proportions and size of the space in the shop compared to where it will be placed.

A large space will give the impression that the furniture is smaller and you will be tempted to estimate without measuring it. You run the risk of either over- or under-furnishing the room.

Don't clutter the space with lots of small pieces.

It's tempting to buy lots of small pieces of furniture or a bunch of small decorative objects. It seems so much more economical than buying one quality piece of furniture or a stunning decorative item created by a designer. In fact, small things cost too, and the more you buy, the more you spend. The result is chaos, not harmony and cohesion.

Keep up to date on trends but keep your style.

It might be difficult in an advanced world where new ideas appear every day.
