The potential of the Romanian furniture industry will once again be on display for five days at BIFE-SIM. Industrial-scale furniture manufacturers and suppliers of accessories and equipment for the furniture industry are expected to be out in force. But as wood is also taking shape in smaller furniture workshops, and designers will be coming up with original ideas and products, it looks like we're in for a full show.<\/p>\n

The fair will host a new edition of the National Furniture Design Competition, which - say the organizers - aims to give young furniture designers the opportunity to assert themselves. The competition is open to both students and professionals who design or produce furniture. The competition will showcase participants who demonstrate functional and technological innovation in their products and ideas, using environmentally friendly materials and suitable for technical realization and mass production.<\/p>\n

The competition, which has already been launched, is being run in two stages, with the winners to be announced at BIFE-SIM. The prototypes will be on display in a special booth at the fair from September 14-16, 2016.\"la<\/p>\n
