Tradition at Expowood: hands-on demonstrations, launches and fair specials

The International Fair of Professional Equipment and Technologies EXPOWOOD 2019 will take place from 11 to 13 April at the Lux Divina Event Centre in Brasov, as it has been the case for the last 4 years.

More than 55 exhibitors have registered for the EXPOWOOD International Trade Fair for Professional Equipment and Technologies by mid-March. On an exhibition area of more than 2,500 square metres, both indoors and outdoors, they will present a wide range of products and services dedicated to the woodworking industry:
woodworking machinery and furniture production (16 companies),
tools, devices and portable electric machines from internationally renowned brands (11 companies),
forestry equipment and gantries (9 companies),
exhaustion, drying, regeneration, air filtration and boiler plants (9 companies)
MDF, wood products and derived products fronts (7 companies)

Tradition at Expowood

East European Trade has not missed a single edition of EXPOWOOD for more than 4 years. It sells premium machinery for the wood and renewable energy industries, with brands such as HOLZ-HER, MARTIN, GANNOmat, LAMELLO, AEG, MIRKA and KAHL in its portfolio.
For this year's Expowood, the EET is focusing on cant applicators. They will present the Auriga 1308XL from German manufacturer HOLZ-HER.

And Proconsel company ticks off, year after year, each edition of the Expowood trade fair! The exhibition platform gives the administrator Florin Horlaci the opportunity not only to meet new customers, but also to take the pulse of the market.
The company Proconsel from Brasov trades in machines, machinery and equipment for the wood industry. It is the sole authorized representative in Romania for the brands of the SCM group in Italy: MiniMax, SCM, DMC, MORBIDELLI, MAHROS, ROUTECH, STEFANI, IDM, GABBIANI, ELMAG and SERGIANI.
"At EXPOWOOD we will present a compact but well-equipped cant applicator dedicated to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. We will promote, among other things, the new range of CNCs launched at the beginning of the year at the SCM Group's Home Fair in Rimini," Florin Horlaci, general manager of Proconsel, told INTARZIA magazine.

New product launches on the market

Festool Romania, a supplier of power tools for carpentry workshops, has chosen to launch two new products on the market at the EXPOWOOD fair: an ultra-modern vacuum cleaner equipped with standard Bluetooth, touch buttons and manual filter structuring attached from the outside and a multifunctional oscillating machine with accumulator. They will also bring the mobile workshop, the technological novelty of autumn 2018, to the stand.
The company will be present, as every year, at EXPOWOOD, together with one of the local distributors, Andoker. In fact, visitors to the fair have become accustomed not only to find out information but also to try out the usual tools on the stand.

Numerically controlled routers

The Wood IQ company has reserved a 42 sqm exhibition space to exhibit two CNCs, a 2/3 m table version and a 1.5/2.5 sqm version, equipped with professional computer, servomotor drive and vacuum table for MDF and chipboard and will do practical demonstrations on them. This way the visitor will be able to get acquainted with them, see them in operation and get to know them well before purchasing.

Rich offer of forestry equipment at Expowood

Visitors to EXPOWOOD will be able to test the Romanian IRUM forestry tractors again this year. Thus, a series of forestry machines will be exhibited at the outdoor stand, including the TAF 690 PE and TAF 2012 models.
Irum is also one of the traditional exhibitors at EXPOWOOD, having reserved a generous 100 sqm space right at the entrance of the Dacia Exhibition Hall.

Alser Forest, another traditional exhibitor at the Expowood trade fair, continues its mission to promote forestry machinery in Romania. At the stand you can watch live demonstrations and ask for more information about the Komatsu 845 forwarder.
This conveyor is designed and built with the aim of providing increased productivity in secondary and main cuts, with reduced environmental impact through low ground pressure.

The EXPOWOOD fair is therefore a platform for presentations and demonstrations for all specialists working in the field of woodworking and furniture production: technology suppliers, designers, manufacturers, professionals, engineers and entrepreneurs.
