Who is Christian Rummel?
Christian Rummel is a German master carpenter with extensive experience in the field of wooden structures. After completing his formal education in Germany, Christian embarked on a three-year journey of initiation, an ancient tradition in German craftsmanship. This adventure took him through Europe and South America, where he absorbed techniques and styles ranging from Swiss carpentry to restoration in Peru.
Destiny brought him to Romania, where he fell in love not only with the beauty of historic buildings, but also with the potential to share his knowledge. Here, Christian became involved in restoration projects of UNESCO monuments, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage. His passion for education has led him to give courses and workshops, becoming a true ambassador of the carpentry craft.
The desire to improve his skills took him back to school in Germany, where he obtained the title of master carpenter with signature, equivalent to an architect or structural engineer in the field of timber structures. Christian now divides his time between Romania, where he continues to work on exciting projects, and Germany, where he teaches at a prestigious master carpentry school.
