Vollmer, a German company specializing in sharpening technologies, appoints Ralf Großhauser as Director-General. He joins Andreas Böhm and Tobias Trautmann on the company's executive board.
With extensive experience in machine tools, strategic development and corporate management, Ralf Großhauser brings to Vollmer a valuable combination of technical expertise and strategic vision. His professional background includes key positions such as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Zeppelin Power Systems and Spokesman of the Board of Directors at tegimus holding (Thermamax Group).
"As a technology-focused strategist in the medium-sized enterprise sector, I am very excited to join the Vollmer management team as of February and contribute to the future of the company," said Ralf Großhauser.
Martin Kapp, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Vollmer Group, emphasizes the importance of this appointment: "As a company with more than 115 years of tradition, it is essential for us to meet the future challenges of the market without losing our identity in the medium-sized enterprise sector. Ralf Großhauser brings exactly the right skills to achieve this balance."
Großhauser's dual qualifications as an engineer and economist, complemented by studies in the USA, as well as his direct experience in the field of mechanical machining, make him the right person to guide Vollmer into new horizons of innovation and digitalization.
