Five Wood-Mizer LT40 bandsaws at manufacturer's price. Who moves first?

Wood-Mizer Romania contacted us with an offer that we have checked and that we consider one of the best of this beginning of the year: a complete sawing package, consisting of the bandsaw LT40 Standard Plus Hydraulic, sharpener BMS250 and the washing machine BMT150, at a promotional price of 38.137 euro - including transportation from Poland. The list price of the same package without discount is €44,007. The almost €5,900 difference comes entirely from the discount on the saw, which drops from €39,133 to €33,263.

Stock is limited to five units in this configuration and the offer is valid until the end of March 2026.

What you actually get

The LT40 needs little introduction. It's the model that Wood-Mizer has built over 100,000 of worldwide since its debut in 1982, and it's a benchmark of reliability in the wood-cutting industry. The version in this offer is the stationary version, with 15 kW electric motor (with upgrade option to 18.5 kW), hydraulic log handling (AHP3 system) and SW10 electronic computer for automatic positioning of the cutting head.

The cutting capacity covers logs up to 90 centimeters in diameter and up to 6.3 meters in length, with a maximum cut width of 72 centimeters. The hydraulic system includes loading arms, log turning claw, center clamp on two rods, taper adjustment rollers and cylindrical side supports. Virtually a single operator can load, position, clamp and cut a log without significant physical effort - all done by hydraulic levers.

The 32-38 millimeter wide blade runs on 483 millimeter diameter handwheels and is automatically lubricated with water during cutting. The electric guide arm keeps the blade stable regardless of the size of the material, and the peeler - included as standard with this package - removes soil and stones from the bark before cutting, protecting the blade and extending its life.

Why sharpeners and sharpeners matter

A bandsaw is only as good as the cloth it works with. That's why the BMS250 and BMT150 are also included in the package.

The BMS250 is an automatic sharpening machine that uses CBN (ncubic boron itride) full profile, 127 millimeters in diameter. It operates with a 0.18 kW single-phase motor at 2,800 revolutions per minute and features an oil lubrication system that keeps the blade temperature low during sharpening. Integrated magnets attract metal filings and keep the oil clean for reuse. The machine accepts blades between 25 and 50 millimeters wide.

The BMT150 is the hand-held planer that works simultaneously on both sides of the blade. Correct planing extends the time the cloth stays sharp, improves cutting performance and ensures superior accuracy. The BMT150 processes blades from 25 to 76 millimeters wide, with a tooth pitch between 6 and 32 millimeters, and comes standard equipped with a nip gauge that accurately measures the kerf of each tooth.

Together, the two machines mean that the operator can maintain his own blades to factory standards, without relying on external services and without time wasted on travel.

Conditions of the offer

The promotional price of 38.137 euro includes the LT40 saw in Standard Plus Hydraulic configuration, the BMS250 sharpener, the BMT150 planer and the transportation from Poland to Romania. Prices exclude VAT, but VAT is not payable as this is an intra-Community transfer - payment is made directly to the manufacturer, Wood-Mizer Europe in Poland.

Delivery is made to the beneficiary's premises within 6-8 weeks after payment of a deposit of minimum 20%, the remainder being paid in full before shipment. Products are new and assembled in Poland. The warranty covers 24 months from invoicing or 4,000 hours of use, and commissioning and staff training are included free of charge.

Who this offer is for

The package is aimed primarily at contractors looking to start up or consolidate a wood-cutting business, but also at existing companies looking to add a reliable production line with low operating costs. The hydraulic configuration makes the difference between a one-man hard-working operation and a one-man efficient one - and the promotional price brings that difference to the most affordable level possible for a fully equipped LT40.
