How was the White Night at the House of Arts

Exactly one week ago, on October 22, creators and product designers made White Night at the House of Arts Cultural Center, invited by Creative Workshop Association.

5th edition of the project White night of product creators and designers, funded by the Ministry of Culture, has created the specific framework of a contemporary art gallery in an elegant location, suitable for presenting and promoting talented creators and designers, but also for encouraging interaction between exhibitors and visitors.

Mihaela Ion, project director says: "The White Night of Creators and Product Designers is a project - an active networking platform that has been building the creative community in Romania since 2012. The products presented during these events are not for sale, thus eliminating the commercial and sales side, leaving room for free discussions between creators, visitors, bloggers, media. "

As in an art gallery, the classical and elegant atmosphere of the place enhanced and beautifully highlighted each of the works on display.

Terrariums and green deco // Ramona Chifu // Slender Tree // Studio Mud // Square Art Studio // Șnur // Vika Tonu Design // WHAT IF I FLY // Wood Be Nice // Artfooly Art Gallery inspired visitors, bloggers and photographers present at the event with innovative creative ideas and techniques.

Small pieces of furniture, jewellery, contemporary art objects, decorative objects made of wood, ceramics, metal, glass, leather could be admired. All materials and works complemented each other in a homogeneous exhibition. Bold colours of watchesDeco Box made of wooden mosaics welcomed visitors to the exhibition.

Craft86 didn't come up with 86 works, but that's a chosen cutoff number for each of the pieces in the Roots collection.

Schirba and Stairways luminaires from Kiku Workshop were perfectly integrated into the space and involved in creating the atmosphere.

Lemnia has a recent and very beautiful history as are its wooden bags. It is interesting that the story is told by men for women.

The musical atmosphere was created by pianist Alex Racoviță, who also plays with piano harmonies in Smiley's concerts, and DJ Grobby Anne - a DJ who has been working for over 10 years in the Romanian underground and groove scene. The Creative Arts bar treated the audience with specially chosen drinks to complete the experience of the whole event.

Project White night of product creators and designers is made by the team Creative Workshop Association, a non-profit organisation that has been supporting alternative presentation approaches in new cultural consumption spaces for more than six years. Since its founding in 2011, it has been helping to build and develop the community of designers and makers nationwide. Through its active involvement in the development of the creative industry, the association succeeds in promoting the contemporary values of Romanian culture.
