A new Wood-Mizer twin-blade edging circular for small and medium woodworking operations

Wood-Mizer announces that the new EG100 twin wedge hemming circular with 5.5 kW or 7.5 kW electric motor is available today.

It is an affordable solution and an added value to small and medium sized models of saws such as LT10, LT15, LT20 or similar sizes."says Krzysztof Kropidlowski, Sales Director of Wood-Mizer Industries in Poland. "Using an edging circular becomes the easiest way to increase the productivity of your saw, and with the EG100, it's even more affordable". This model allows boards up to 50 mm thick and 520 mm wide to be cut into planks up to 300 mm wide.

Standard specifications include two circular sails; one is fixed and the other is adjustable. The distance between the sails is manually adjusted. Infeed and outfeed rollers keep the planks straight during shearing.

Optionally, the new EG100 twin wedge hemming circular can be equipped with a 14 hp gas engine.

EG100 double-blade hemming circular

New modelEG100further expands the already wide range of Wood-Mizer hemming circulators, which includes the EG250, EG300 and EG350 models, as well as the new TITAN industrial circulators. The EG300 is very popular for semi-industrial applications due to its robust construction and flexible design. The EG300 circular can be easily configured for multi-blade applications with a total of five circular blades.

  • To have had in my time such a tool ehii there was such a thing but they were very dangerous anytime a big axe could be thrown back to the worker. Such accidents were frequent and you had to wear the right equipment and a belly pan to avoid being pierced by splinters.
