More than 50 companies registered at Expowood 4iTech!

There are 35 days to go until Expowood 4iTech, the trade fair for equipment, machinery, tools and accessories for the furniture manufacturing, woodworking and logging sectors.

So far, more than 50 companies have signed up, of which 28 are from the Central region, 13 from Bucharest, 9 from the north of the country and three from abroad. Thus, an indoor area of 1,600 sqm and an outdoor area of 1,600 sqm has already been occupied.

Heller, If Const and Savicom returned to Expowood after a year's absence

Three Romanian companies have decided to return to the Expowood fair after a year's absence. They are Heller from Satu Mare, If Const from Sibiu and Savicom Asig from Miercurea Ciuc. Here is what motivated them to choose Expowood Brasov again.

Adalbert Kocsis, Heller representative:

"Maintaining contact with our traditional partners in the area is the underlying reason for our return to EXPOWOOD. Unfortunately, during the year we don't always manage to visit the companies we collaborate with, so the fair is a good opportunity to exchange a few more views to think about viable solutions for the future. We would like to have traditional companies visit us and have as many new contacts as possible to popularise our products."

Florin Irimina, representative of If Const:

"The Expowood Fair is regionally attractive, there are many foresters in the Central area and there is no better forestry fair. Also, there are always new things coming up in the market that are good to see: new customers, new business opportunities. We are mainly targeting firewood processors, so we will have a vertical splitter, a trailer splitter and a circular splitter on the stand. We hope Expowood will bring us new customers and ideas."

If Const - Distributor of forestry machinery and accessories, 11 years on the market. It cooperates with prestigious brands such as LANCMAN, PONSSE, JENZ, TAIJFUN, HAASE and RUD in Austria and Slovenia.

Szasz Attila, representative of Savicom Asig:

"Last year I did indeed miss it, but before that I had been participating constantly since 2011 - but under the logo and company of the Austrian partner - Konrad Forsttechnik. In 2016 was the first time we participated with Savicom, bringing both brands we represent in Romania - Konrad Forsttechnik and Eschlbock Maschinenfabrik. Then we didn't have the machines available during the fair, as they were bulky and had long lead times, and the logistics would have been too complicated to bring them especially from Austria for the fair. But this year we did our homework better and prepared the fair in advance. We hope to make a nice stand with high-performance machines. What are our expectations from this year's fair? First of all, that the organisers will manage to bring more visitors than in previous years.
