Felder Gruppe Romania at BIFE-SIM 2018 Results and impressions at the end of the fair  

The 2018 edition of the largest event in the Romanian furniture industry, the International Furniture, Equipment and Accessories Fair BIFE-SIM, which took place over 5 days, from September 12 to 16, at Romexpo, has come to an end.

With a 17-year presence at BIFE-SIM, for Felder Gruppe Romania, this year's edition of the exhibition represented a larger stand and the largest number of machines and equipment exhibited so far. In addition, for the first time at BIFE-SIM, the company also had a stand dedicated to industrial machinery and CNC technology.

• More than 1,000 visitors crossed the thresholds of our stands;

• 506 square meters of exhibition area;

• Over 200 machine demonstrations and presentations;

• 45 specialists available to visitors.

Felder Gruppe Romania proved that #unprietendecalitate is not just a slogan

The large number of visitors and customers who supported us both by their presence at the fair and by the positive appreciation and references we received from them, were proof that we are what we set out to be in our relationship with all our partners: #unprietendecalitate.

"BIFE-SIM 2018 marked a new beginning for the industry's most important event. First of all, after a long wait, the fair was hosted in the new halls of Romexpo, which allowed us to be more flexible and creative in terms of exhibition and stand design and to offer a more beautiful and inclusive experience to all our visitors and partners.

Thus, this year we had the largest area ever of 506 square meters, an increase of 60% compared to previous years, 33 machines and equipment on display, 20 of which were demonstrated throughout the fair, integrated exhaust and compressed air systems, as well as electrical power supply with a total length of over 500 m. It was a considerable effort for the whole team both before and after the exhibition. But perhaps the most important aspect is that we were able to better address the visitors through the two stands dedicated to our solutions: a stand for industrial solutions and CNC technology and a stand for classic machining equipment, and the feedback from the visitors was positive."

A bigger stand and more machines on display

For the first time in the tradition of participation at BIFE-SIM, Felder Gruppe Romania has had two stands dedicated to the company's solutions: a stand dedicated to industrial solutions and CNC technology and a stand dedicated to classic woodworking machinery.

The visitors could see and test dozens of models of woodworking solutions, both industrial and classic woodworking machines from all 3 ranges of the Austrian group: Format-4 - Industrial solutions for medium-sized and large companies, Felder - Professional solutions for small and medium-sized companies and Hammer - Economical solutions for small workshops.

The two booths also had integrated exhaust and compressed air systems, as well as electrical power supply with a total length of more than 500 m, so visitors could see an entire production flow like in a real factory.

In addition, Felder Gruppe product specialists demonstrated Festool professional hand tools and repair solutions for chipboard, MDF or PVC surfaces Novoryt .

"As we have observed in all the years that we have participated in the fair, BIFE-SIM is also an indicator of the level of the industry. The number of visitors was not up to our expectations, but those who crossed our stands were better prepared than in other years. The large number of visitors to the industrial solutions booth and their interest in CNC technology shows that manufacturers are ready to take the next step in their business. We were also pleased to be visited by new, start-up companies looking to apply for Start-Up Nation or other forms of financing. This is a growth indicator for the industry and if well managed can lead to significant growth. Of course, there is much room for improvement, but the whole industry seems to be on the right track.

As every year, I would like to thank our team for their professionalism and commitment, especially since this year we almost doubled our number of people, making us the largest team in the industry, in all company structures. We like to say that BIFE-SIM is the best team building, and this year's experience has reconfirmed that we are right and that only with a well-trained team can we be #unprietendecalité for the industry."
