Wood-Mizer introduces the WB2000 high performance industrial saw, which has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the high production woodworking markets. Successfully installed and operated on six continents since its initial debut, the WB2000 expands the versatility and affordability of a high performance industrial saw by offering world-class service and support from Wood-Mizer's leading distribution network.

Able to Cutting with 50 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm narrow-web blades, the WB2000 combines the high efficiency of thin-blade technology with the durability and reliability required for high-production operations. In addition, WB2000 saw blades can be resharpened with fast, accurate and affordable CBN grinding wheel technology without the need for other costly resharpening techniques.

Packed with high-performance features, The WB2000 saw features a powerful 30 kW or 37 kW electric motor, rugged construction, low maintenance, 2-camera live video system and efficient operation with Setworks control system for cutting large diameter soft, hard and tropical logs. The WB2000 can be used as a stand alone saw to process a complete log or added to an existing line to process non-regular logs or to produce custom designs.

Electronic systems control and a raised control station allow a single operator to manage all log splitting and hydraulic log handling functions while maintaining a clear view of the entire production. The advanced controls are operated from an HMI touchscreen, which displays the dimensions of the planks and prisms, along with the current cutting head height, feed position and blade tension. In addition, ergonomically designed joysticks give the operator precise control of all log cutting and handling functions and provide proportional hydraulic control of the feed speed. Hydraulic log handling functions include: log clamp, vertical side supports, bi-directional chain log turning system and power rollers for log positioning and prism removal.
