Wood-Mizer introduces the WB2000 high performance industrial saw, which has been specifically designed to meet the needs of high production woodworking markets. Successfully installed and operated on six continents since its initial debut, the WB2000 extends the versatility and affordability of a high-performance industrial saw, while providing world-class service and support from Wood-Mizer's leading distribution network.

Able to Cutting with 50 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm narrow web belts, the WB2000 combines the high throughput of thin web technology with the durability and reliability demanded by high production operations. In addition, WB2000 saw blades can be resharpened using fast, accurate and affordable CBN grinding wheel technology without the need for other costly resharpening techniques.

Equipped with high-performance features, The WB2000 saw features a powerful 30 kW or 37 kW electric motor, rugged construction, low maintenance, 2 camera live video system and efficient operation using the Setworks control system for cutting large diameter soft, hard and tropical logs. The WB2000 can be used as a stand-alone saw to process a complete log or added to an existing line to process irregular logs or to produce custom patterns.

Electronic systems control panel and a raised control station allow a single operator to manage all log cutting and hydraulic log handling functions while maintaining a clear view of the entire production. The advanced control devices are operated from an HMI touch screen, which displays plank and prism dimensions, along with current cutterhead height, feed position and blade tension. In addition, ergonomic joysticks give the operator precise control of all log cutting and handling functions and provide proportional hydraulic control of feed speed. Hydraulic log handling functions include: log clamp, vertical side supports, bi-directional chain log turning system and power rollers for log positioning and prism removal.
