INTERMOB will open its doors in Istanbul's Tüyap center from September 12-15

The 26th edition of the international trade fair INTERMOB, organized by RX Tüyap in cooperation with the Association of Turkish Furniture Accessories Manufacturers (MAKSDER), will take place at the Tüyap Exhibition Center in Istanbul from 12-15 September 2024. Offering a comprehensive trade platform for manufacturers of accessories, hardware, semi-finished products, technological materials and tooling for the furniture industry, INTERMOB is almost a must-visit destination for Romanian furniture manufacturers.

What will you find at Intermob?

More than 500 exhibiting companies from Turkey and abroad are expected at Intermob to showcase their latest solutions, services and materials for sustainable furniture manufacturing. Visitors will be able to find a wide range of offerings, from forest products, particleboard, furniture doors, covers, panels, profiles, edgings, and all kinds of furniture accessories and systems, along with furniture chemicals, paints and varnishes, adhesives, abrasives, upholstery materials, fabrics and foam cutters.

Italy, one of the leading countries when it comes to furniture production and design, is a major buyer for all types of products, accessories, equipment and materials used in furniture production. Therefore the organizers of INTERMOB pay particular attention to the promotion of the fair in Italy, the fair was presented both at the SICAM fair in Pordenone and at the Interzum Forum Italia, held in Bergamo on June 6-7, 2024.

A huge furniture manufacturing base in Europe, Poland is a valuable export market for Turkish manufacturers of accessories, materials and sub-components for the furniture industry. In this regard, individual meetings with Polish furniture manufacturers, associations and publications took place during the All4Wood Fair held in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, on May 14-16, 2024, and many Polish furniture manufacturers were invited to the fair.

Tour de force in Romania

Our country is in the sights of Turkish accessories exporters, so INTERMOB is paying special attention to invite furniture manufacturers to visit the fair in September 2024. A promotional tour was organized during June, during which numerous Romanian furniture factories were visited, and the program included meetings with the management of the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster (CMT) in Cluj Napoca. CMT brings together furniture manufacturers of different qualifications, bringing together under its umbrella innovative furniture manufacturers from Transylvania.
