Schattdecor SE management changes: Roland Auer steps down as CEO

Schattdecor SE, one of the world's leading manufacturers of decorative surfaces for the furniture and flooring industry, announces a number of important changes in its management structure. The most notable change is the departure of Roland Auer as CEO of the company.

After an impressive career of more than 30 years with Schattdecor, Roland Auer has taken the decision to step down as CEO of the Board of Directors. This decision was made for personal reasons, with the support of his family and the company's Supervisory Board.

Roland Auer's contribution to the development and internationalization of Schattdecor has been significant over three decades. The Supervisory Board and the Schatt family were particularly keen to emphasize his achievements at Schattdecor Poland, as well as his work as Chairman of the Management Board since 2017.

To ensure a smooth transition and continuity of operations, the company has taken a number of internal measures:

1. Dr. Derick Beitel, the current Group CFO, will take over the role of Spokesperson of the Board of Directors.
2. Claudia Küchen, member of the Board responsible for Design, Marketing, Communication and Décor Management, will also take responsibility for the Human Resources Department.
3. Robert Vuga, with 24 years of experience within the Schattdecor Group, including as General Manager in Russia and Turkey, has been appointed the new Chief Sales Officer.

Reiner Schulz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE, and Anja Schatt-Steiner, representing the Schatt family, emphasized that these changes have been carefully planned to ensure a smooth transition. They reaffirmed the company's commitment to maintaining continuous and trusting collaborations with its customers, suppliers and partners.
