Roland Auer is the new Chief Marketing Officer of the EGGER Group

The EGGER Group announces the appointment of Roland Auer to the global Sales and Marketing team. With a career spanning more than 30 years at surface specialist Schattdecor, where he most recently served as CEO, Auer will take over as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) effective May 1, 2025.

As of May 1, 2025, Roland Auer (left) will become Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), reporting directly to Michael Egger Jr. (right), Chief Sales Officer of the EGGER Group.

Decades spent in key positions at Schattdecor have cemented Roland Auer's reputation as an experienced manager and recognized industry expert. His professional career highlights outstanding skills in developing and maintaining international customer relationships, strategic partnerships and team leadership. In his new role at EGGER, he will coordinate group-wide marketing and product management activities, reporting directly to Michael Egger Jr, Chief Sales Officer of the EGGER Group. His primary responsibilities will include aligning the global marketing organization with future customer requirements and needs.
