New Wood-Mizer 2025 range: from occasional users to industry leaders

The new Wood-Mizer range offers equipment to suit any user - from hobbyists in the home to companies with intensive industrial production.

In 2025, LIGNA in Germany and Customer Days at the Wood-Mizer plant in Poland, the company presented its latest innovations - advanced equipment for cutting and processing wood. Wood-Mizer's team of engineers continues to implement state-of-the-art technological solutions designed to increase processing efficiency, flexibility and accuracy, giving customers a strong competitive advantage.

Pioneering industrial cutting with the WM5500 and MR250 Multirip saw

In response to the growing global demand for large-scale industrial wood-cutting solutions, Wood-Mizer has launched two complete processing lines that represent a new generation of efficiency and automation.

At the heart of this innovation is new industrial saw WM5500, capable of cutting logs with a maximum diameter of 105 cm (maximum cutting width 90 cm). MR250 double arbor multiblade saw complements the processing line, ready to handle materials up to 650 mm wide × 254 mm thick - thanks to a configuration of up to 32 blades. Although combined in one cutting line, these two machines offer exceptional cutting accuracy and productivity.

The WM5500 saw, with its new features, enables lower labor costs, reduced energy consumption and optimized material yield. One of the WM5500's most significant enhancements focuses on efficiency and accuracy - its new servo-driven cutter head positioning system reduces movement time from 10 to 5 seconds, doubling speed and improving productivity.

"We presented several new machines that customers have long been asking for"explains Adam Kubiak, industrial sales manager at Wood-Mizer. "As companies look to automate and expand production, we have developed the WM5500 to replace the WB2000, adding features such as a 120mm Stellite 120mm blade, 45kW motor and compressed air assist. In today's uncertain economic climate, customers appreciate modular solutions that can be expanded as their needs grow without requiring massive upfront investment."

In addition to the WM5500 line, Wood-Mizer also presents WM2500 saw, paired with the EG350 circular. The WM2500 model, a success in North America, is now available to European customers looking for rugged industrial capability at a competitive price. This entry-level industrial saw can cut logs up to 105 cm in diameter (cutting width 84 cm). Circular EG350, combining the capabilities of a hemming machine and a multi-blade machine in one machine (cutting capacity 550 mm wide and 100 mm thick), streamlines operations, enabling saw users to achieve higher production and greater profitability.

New LX30 saw for hobbyists and small businesses

Beyond large-scale industrial equipment, Wood-Mizer remains committed to supporting small businesses, hobbyists and amateur operators. Launch LX30 saw underlines this dedication by offering a budget-friendly option for personal projects and light woodcutting.

"LX30 is ideal for hobbyists, farmers or anyone starting out in woodworking"says Hubert Powietrzyński, sales director. "Whether you're pruning trees in an orchard or experiencing woodworking for the first time in the garage, the LX30 offers an affordable way to get into the sawing business. Its compact design, simple operation and mechanical reliability make it perfect for users who want to focus on creativity rather than complex machine operation."

The LX30, already well received in the US, is now available in Europe, offering a simple way to turn logs into usable planks with minimal training or technical expertise.

MP410: Raising the bar in woodworking

Another remarkable addition to the Wood-Mizer 2025 range is the MP410 four-side profiling machine, designed specifically for precision woodworking and timber finishing. The MP410 is an industrial-grade machine that can plane and profile all four sides of a material up to 410 mm wide and 230 mm high, making it suitable for the production of any wooden items from heavy beams to fine furniture pieces.

Equipped with electrically driven upper and lower feed rollers, the MP410 handles wet or green wood with ease. The robust cast-iron work table, surface lubrication, automatic feed system, four cutting heads and improved sawdust extraction system ensure smooth, high quality processing. The machine's easy-to-use 7" touch control panel allows operators to make precise adjustments effortlessly.

"The LIGNA exhibition was a great success for our woodworking line"remarks Adrian Bugała, technical support engineer. "Visitors were particularly attracted by our established MP360 and MP260 models, but the new MP410 has generated strong interest from industrial customers looking for advanced finishing solutions in joinery."
