CIFF Shanghai 2025: China International Furniture Fair, September 9-12, 2025

The China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) will take place in Shanghai from September 9-12, 2025. The event will be held at the Shanghai Hongqiao National Exhibition and Convention Center.

CIFF is the largest global furniture fair with a history of 55 editions. Since 2015, the fair follows a dual format: the spring edition in Guangzhou Pazhou and the fall edition in Shanghai Hongqiao.

This year's edition will bring together more than 1,500 global brands and some 150,000 trade visitors on 300,000 square meters of floor space in 10 pavilions. The theme is "Design Crossing Boundaries".

Main fair areas

Eden Design (Hall 4.1) - the creative center of the exhibition, themed "Preciousness". Here, original design forces from China will be showcased, demonstrating how innovative ideas turn into commercial success. The program includes the East Design Show, The Italian Lounge (in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano), HOTLINE Design Creators' Exhibition and other projects.

Interior Pavilion for Living & Dining (6.1) - Complete home solutions with a focus on furniture coordination.

Urban Outdoor Furniture Exhibition (1.1) - Outdoor solutions from luxury garden collections to camping equipment.

Exhibition for Offices and Public Spaces (7.2/8.2) - Workspace concepts that combine efficiency with human-centered design.

International Woodworking Machinery Fair (7.1/8.1) - Over 340 technology brands showcasing processing solutions including AI-assisted wood selection and smart production lines.

New Retail Pavilion (North Pavilion) - Presents a shift from traditional product selling to complete lifestyle experiences for consumers.

CIFF Shanghai 2025 aims to show how Chinese design is reshaping the global landscape, combining Eastern and Western aesthetics, traditional craftsmanship and digital innovation.
