The Wood Hub returns at BIFE-SIM 2025: Four days of craftsmanship, innovation and genuine networking

After last year's success, the Wood Hub returns to BIFE-SIM with an even richer and more exciting program! Get ready for four intensive days of hands-on demonstrations, creative workshops and genuine networking, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that has already become the signature of our events.

200 square meters of living experience in the world of wood

Our 200 square meter booth will once again become the epicenter of activities for all wood enthusiasts who want to learn, create and connect with professionals from all over the country. Whether you're a craftsman with decades of experience or a young enthusiast just discovering the beauty of this noble material, the Wood Hub is where you'll feel at home.

"Creative Corner - where ideas come to life

New for this edition is "Creative Cornera special space dedicated to applied design, where Radu Călian and Caesar Blînda will demonstrate how to turn an idea into a finished product. The two will create a sculptural lighting fixture in real time using advanced veneer lamination techniques and contemporary design.

"I want to show that design is not just about aesthetics, but about finding the best solution to a practical problem," says Radu Călian. "In the Creative Corner, participants will see the whole process - from sketch to finished product."

Practical workshops and live demonstrations

Finishing with professional products

The Wood Hub team will organize intensive professional finishing workshops using the products professional. You will learn from Mihaela Radu and Radu Vădan advanced protection and finishing techniques that can completely transform the look of a piece of furniture.

Machine demonstrations on partner stands

In collaboration with the Wood Hub's partners, exhibitors at BIFE-SIM, you will attend live demonstrations on specialized machines, where you will see traditional and modern processing techniques applied in real time.

"Vădan's Glade" becomes an open stage

The format favored by participants in previous years turns into a real open stage for debates and presentations. Friday and Saturday, the terrace of the house on wheels hosts:

• "Forest certification and EUDR - Impact on Romanian workshops“ with the expert Lucian Filigean, PEFC Romania - find out how the new EU rules affect you

House on wheels and wooden buildings

For those interested in construction, you will have the chance to explore a house on wheels and find full information about this type of house. Emil Baciu, our energy efficient building expert, will introduce you:

• Information on passive and energy efficient houses
• Modern window and glazing technologies
• Practical solutions and technologies for timber construction
