Every time I think of a wedding, I see a special event designed to please the bride and groom first and foremost. Because it's a time when beautiful feelings, emotions, happiness, blessing are shared. And, in fact, it's a big party with family, loved ones and friends. There's no need to make new acquaintances at your own wedding, and no need for exorbitant sacrifices and expenses.
So, a simple and natural decor may be all you need for a decent and elegant event. And, wood copes well in such a situation. It goes great with flowers of any kind even wild flowers, lavender or even wheatgrass. Unexpected, tasteful combinations and improvisations can be made with wooden items you wouldn't have thought would lend themselves to such an event. A simple white cake looks impeccable on a wooden countertop and matches the wood shades perfectly. And how simple some of them can be made!
I have noticed with admiration that many young people who are planning their own wedding, or are in charge of other people's weddings, think about this celebration and its decoration differently than they "should". They choose discreet and unexpected locations, gardens, forests, glades, barns and decorations often inspired by nature. I hope I've inspired those who set out on such searches and scenarios! Have a wedding the way you want it! Or have beautiful wedding invitations!
