BIFE-SIM, the largest international trade fair for furniture, equipment and accessories in Romania, opens its doors from September 14 to 18 at Romexpo.

BIFE-SIM is organized by Romexpo, the Association of Furniture Manufacturers in Romania (APMR) and the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and this year's edition is expected over 22,000 visitors, specialists and the general public. The Romanian Furniture Club is a partner of the event.
"We are pleased with the numerous international participation at this year's edition, the degree of internationalization being 12%, which proves that the Romanian furniture market is still attractive, both in terms of exports and increased interest in imports. Exhib exhibiting companies from countries such as Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary, Greece, Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Germany and Serbia contribute to creating an overview of the furniture industry among specialist and non-specialist visitors.
At the same time, the international participation shows that the efforts of Romanian companies in recent years to position themselves correctly on the foreign market and our efforts, as organizers, to prepare an event comparable to those abroad, have paid off. We would like to contribute to building strong partnerships between Romanian and foreign exhibitors, and BIFE-SIM 2016 is the starting point for future successful projects."said Mr Mihai CostriÈ™, Romexpo General Manager.
Recognized and appreciated by professionals and end-consumers alike, BIFE-SIM continues its upward evolution and remains an excellent launch pad for the latest news in the field.
"The Romanian furniture industry is keeping pace with the world, with the market and with the demands of a new lifestyle, alert and demanding, often super technologized, without forgetting to call the consumer back to nature, to spaces dominated by natural materials, which bring harmony and balance. For local visitors, the event brings them a certainty: furniture made in Romania is an investment that will bring added value to their own brands and businesses, for some, and direct material, functional and aesthetic value for others. For foreign visitors, the event essentially means business and products of European standards, within reach and with low transportation costs and, most probably, the best opportunity to appreciate the variety and potential of the Romanian furniture industry." stressed Mrs Aurica Sereny, President of APMR.
BIFE-SIM 2016 is not only the place where the quality and variety of furniture meet, but also the venue for many related events - woodworking demonstrations, interior design simulations, conferences and seminars such as the Design Conference in its 5th edition, raffles with prizes for the specialized visitors and the general public!
