Christmas Design Made in RO

DESIGNIST is ready for a new edition Made in RO - Romanian design fair. Just a week before Christmas -December 17&18 - is waiting for you at Impact Hub Bucharest (5 Halelor Street / Unirii Square) with a selection of fine gifts, collections and brand-new Romanian design brands.

The Made in RO - Romanian Design Fair #8 We offer you Christmas presents out of the box, original, ingenious and innovative objects. The pieces have been selected on the basis of their novelty and ability to blend into contemporary interiors. You will have the opportunity to admire and make presents of objects exhibited for the first time at Made in RO - Romanian Design Fair.

"Should it be white like porcelain, diaphanous like silk, with a sparkle like metal, expressive like wood? Romanian product designers surprise you with hundreds of cool gifts that will make waves this holiday season: ceramics, furniture, home&deco accessories, cool Christmas decorations, toys, funky lamps, small furniture, fashion accents, books with games included."

More than 65 designers selected following the call for projects are coming to Bucharest from Cluj, Timișoara, Craiova or Targoviste. The atmosphere at Made in RO will be all about harmony and joy to bring together the most talented creatives and the most passionate and beautiful visitors & supporters of made in RO design. It looks like you will admire many new projects and collections premiered at Made in RO and interact, in a cozy, familiar atmosphere, with brands participating for the first time at the event.

The poster of this Made in RO edition has, as usual, a Romanian story. It is already a tradition that the graphic element of the poster is created by a Romanian designer. For this year's Made in RO poster, the graphics of a set of decorative plates created by ceramist Mădălina Teler were used.

BEWISE Collective Movement is the surprise of the season: they recycle skateboard boards that children no longer use and turn them into jewelry and home&deco items.

The Design Your Space team has prepared a super collection of accessories. YouR POCKET is a wall pocket in wood and leather.

Cork Boutique come to Made in RO with the Chameleon frames, made of MDF and cork, laser-cut, LED illuminated. Sort of like oversized wall sconces with customizable patterns.

Combic will display Scandinavian Christmas-flavored gifts in The Nordic Corner. Store owner Ruxandra Radian aims to continue working with Romanian craftsmen and designers to enrich her boutique's offer with locally designed pieces and accessories.
