Bife-Sim

Global Design Suceava comes with news at BIFE-SIM 2018 - acrylic panels, laser inking, 3D foils for DIY antiquing

Global Design Suceava we are accustomed every year to come to the fair with novelties: the very good quality of the painting of MDF panels, the introduction of foils with special qualities and the most diverse millings. Each of these novelties has meant permanent investments in the Suceava factory because it is very difficult, if not impossible, to obtain quality and diversity without investing. This year is no exception, the novelties being primarily related to the production of doors made of acrylic panels. This has meant investing in a high-performance coating machine. But it's not the only news. Let's take them one by one.

High-gloss acrylic panels will also be available to furniture manufacturers as finished doors

Acrylic surfaces are known for their elegance, versatility and durability. Thanks to their high gloss that perfectly reflects images, they succeed in giving the space new dimensions and an elegant, airy look. They are surfaces associated with modern, futuristic style, contributing to a sense of refinement and class.

Surfaces are made by laminating MDF panel with rigid thermoplastic films covered with transparent film with integrated colour coating, known asHARD COAT. This treatment guarantees a perfectly flat surface free of any micro-levelling, which allows the total reflection of light, giving it a mirror-like shine.

Panels Top-X from Global Design will also be able to be delivered to furniture manufacturers as finished doors. This will happen immediately after the fair, when the latest acquisition - the laser edgebanding machine - arrives in Suceava. airTec by Homag. During the fair the machine will be on the Homag stand where there will be demonstrations for those interested.

The investment - of several hundred thousand euros - was made to support furniture manufacturers. Until now acrylic panels were only available in 2800/1300 mm sizes. After the fair, with the installation of the curved machine, deliveries will also be made in the form of curved doors that can be used in furniture manufacture without any additional operations.

Panels Top-X are highly appreciated not only for their aesthetic qualities but also for their high resistance to abrasion, staining and chemical action. Global Design currently stocks 13 decors. After the fair, other decors and material types will be added. One of the most spectacular is Glass-X, the panel that imitates glass.

But they are not the only panels or door fronts offered by Global Design. Painted MDF fronts in more than 300 matt, semi-matt, deep matt or high-gloss shades, or digitally printed MDF or glass panels are standard products in the company's portfolio.

3D Sheets

Another proposal for this fair is 3D foils that can be personalised. The 3D foils are used to decorate MDF and are, as the name suggests, embossed. This allows them to be finished with an antique, structured look, a finishing that can be done by DIY enthusiasts.

Such foils allow customisation of furniture or partitions, giving the customer the possibility to obtain surfaces with an aged look. It is the way to transform modern furniture into something that looks full of memories. A piece of furniture that discreetly shows the patina of time enriches the space and gives it elegance.

The 3D sheets are available in 10 different decors.

New milling models

Although they already have classic and modern milling models in their portfolio, there will be new products in this field at the fair. The latest milling models will be on display, available for both painted and veneered MDF panels.

With the help of these millings the furniture gets more personality. Simple MDF panels are transformed into doors or drawer fronts that look like solid wood. The high quality paintwork, with state-of-the-art finishing lines, makes it hard to tell the difference between MDF milled doors and solid wood doors.

Global Design Suceava

Global Design Suceava has accustomed us, for years, to the concern for quality, for the introduction of new ideas. The MDF doors made here can be used in the creation of contemporary furniture, as well as classic or avant-garde furniture. The modern solutions adopted make the furniture not only aesthetically pleasing but also more durable and long-lasting.

Technical and commercial teama Global Design Suceavawill be present at the fair to provide support and technical information, both to factories interested in the MDF front offer and to visitors eager to learn about the latest trends in the field. All the news will be on display at the company's stand in Hall B2 - stand 326.
