Global Design Suceava every year we are accustomed to come to the fair with novelties: very good quality of MDF panel painting, the introduction of high quality foils and milling as diverse as possible. Each of these novelties has meant permanent investments in the Suceava factory because it is very difficult, if not impossible, to achieve quality and diversity without investing. This year is no exception, with the novelties being linked primarily to the production of doors made of acrylic panels. This has meant investing in a high-performance door-hinging machine. But that's not the only news. Let's take them one at a time.
High-gloss acrylic panels can also be supplied to furniture manufacturers as finished doors
Acrylic surfaces are recognized for their elegance, versatility and strength. Thanks to their high gloss that perfectly reflects images, they manage to give a space new dimensions and a sleek, airy look. They are surfaces associated with modern, futuristic style, contributing to a sense of refinement and class.
The surfaces are made by laminating the MDF panel with rigid thermoplastic foils coated with transparent film with integrated color coating, known as HARD COAT. This treatment guarantees a perfectly flat surface, free of any micro-degrees, which allows total reflection of light, giving it the appearance of a mirror gloss.
Panels Top-X from Global Design will also be available for delivery to furniture manufacturers in the form of finished doors. This will happen immediately after the fair, when the latest purchase - the laser edgebanding machine - will arrive in Suceava airTec by Homag. During the fair the car will be on the Homag stand where there will be a demonstration for those interested.
The investment - several hundred thousand euros - was made to support furniture manufacturers. Until now acrylic panels were only available in sizes 2800/1300 mm. After the fair, with the installation of the casing machine, deliveries will also be made in the form of cased doors that can be used in furniture manufacturing without any additional operations.
Panels Top-X are highly prized not only for their aesthetic qualities but also for their high resistance to abrasion, staining and chemical action. Global Design currently stocks 13 decors. After the fair, other decors and material types will be added. One of the most spectacular is Glass-X, the panel that imitates glass.
But they are not the only panels or door fronts offered by Global Design. Painted MDF fronts in over 300 matt, semi-matt, deep matt or high-gloss shades, or digitally printed MDF or glass panels are standard products in the company's portfolio.
3D Sheets
Another proposal for this fair are 3D foils that will be customizable. 3D foils are used to decorate MDF and are, as the name suggests, embossed. This allows them to be finished with an antiqued, structured look, which can be done by DIY enthusiasts.
Such foils can be used to personalize furniture or partitions, giving the customer the possibility to achieve old-looking surfaces. It's the way modern furniture can be transformed into furniture that looks full of memories. A piece of furniture with a discreet patina of time enriches the space and adds elegance.
The 3D sheets are available in 10 different decors.
New milling models
Although they already have both classic and modern milling models in their portfolio, there will also be novelties in this field at the fair. The latest milling models will be on show, available for both painted and veneered MDF panels.
With this milling the furniture gets more personality. Simple MDF panels are transformed into doors or drawer fronts that look like solid wood. High-quality painting with state-of-the-art finishing lines make it hard to tell the difference between milled MDF and solid wood doors.
