Since every home requires customised protection, all standard Artech hardware components have been designed to provide burglar-resistant solutions at different security levels. Windows and doors on the ground floor are particularly at risk of burglary. A high degree of security is therefore required at this level, while on the more difficult-to-reach upper floors, basic protection is usually sufficient. For perfect burglary protection on each floor, AGB offers several levels of protection. Depending on the location and the degree of security required, each window can - with the same appearance - be equipped with different systems. So, by choosing the different components of the range you can customise your level of burglary security, from basic to the highest standard of security (using Poseidon TT accessories).

Poseidon TT is window hardware made to withstand burglary attempts and more. It's a different kind of locking device to what's currently on the market, which visibly increases the protection it can offer. The system is composed of two opposing hooks that enter and lock into dedicated, highly resistant locking devices that prevent any gap or displacement of the holster.

The Poseidon TT range of accessories has been designed for both the lower transom and the vertical mullions (hinge part and espagnolette part), comprising elements that can be used for most window types and sizes.

• the extendable latch lever with pre-assembled welded steel anti-burglar opener (standard component as standard) which cannot be activated in a burglary attempt as it only opens from the front. 

• The standard mushroom bed provided for all perimeter hardware components is made from a single piece of steel. This choice was made to increase stability and avoid the problems of self-adjusting components (less efficient in terms of pressure and burglar resistance).

• Open-base opositors, together with adjustable cams, allow wide adjustments of the hardware, with the guarantee that the locking points maintain the same pressure and anti-breakage performance at any adjustment position. The U-shape of the hardened steel optics allows the cam to fit perfectly, making it impossible for it to slip. The result is a joinery system that allows RC2 and RC3 classification using standard series components.

• Zamak opods with concealed screws offer the guarantee of RC1 burglar-proof security and are a unique solution appreciated by architects and beneficiaries alike. The concealed screw covers revolutionise the concept of joinery design.

With the Poseidon TT system, the window is classified as RC2/3 PLUS burglar resistant and the time required to enter the home is extended from 5 minutes (RC2 standard) to 20 minutes (well above standard requirements). Standardised resistance classes (RC) describe the minimum time a window or door must withstand an attack with a defined set of tools. So, to deliver systems that meet safety promises, AGB tests each product in its own laboratory. And to be assigned to a resistance class according to EN standards, it is tested by an accredited and certified testing institute.
