Accesoria Group presents AUTOMACTION, the BIESSE concept at Ligna 2019

With 6,000 m² of exhibition space, more than 45 innovative technologies and over 300 specialists on the stand, BIESSE's participation at this year's LIGNA will be a real show of strength. The Italian manufacturer wants its impressive presence in Hanover to celebrate 50 years in business. It's also intended to be a preview of the fall opening of BIESSE's German branch, a 6000 m² campus located in Nersingen, which will have a 1600 m² showroom.

From the news page on the Accesoria Group website, the BIESSE representative in Romania, we learn about the concept AUTOMACTION with which BIESSE wants to highlight the link between man and robot at LIGNA 2019. BIESSE has already accustomed us to machines with a high degree of automation and robotization. The new concept talks about integration, connection and digitalization, with a focus on customer needs and creating the perfect solution for each customer.

BIESSE AUTOMACTION at LIGNA - The future is already here

LIGNA is the most important trade fair for woodworking machinery, tools and technologies. In parallel, while at the Milan fair you will discover the latest trends in furniture and interior decoration, at LIGNA you will find the latest in technology and superior woodworking. In the age of digitalization, technologies are increasingly automated and robotized, and this is where BIESSE excels. This year, from May 27 to 31, BIESSE will make the most of the opportunity to showcase the opportunities offered by robotization and the advantages of new technologies.

The BIESSE representatives assure us that automation and robotization do not eliminate man, but on the contrary, man is at the heart of the concerns when designing machines. The focus is on streamlining processes, transferring repetitive cycles to robots, thus increasing the performance and quality of operations. Humans coordinate, program and streamline. BIESSE has created modular and flexible systems so that they can be easily adapted to each type of flow or production range. At a time when the entire woodworking sector is facing a serious labor shortage, LIGNA is a good opportunity to see and analyze all these technologies.

In order to streamline the factory, BIESSE combines robotization and digitalization with new software development and continues the innovative journey started with SOPHIA, the IoT (Internet of Things) service platform. By extending the platform's functionality, the business will become more predictable, improving personalized interaction with the customer regarding the machine. This significantly reduces the time needed for assistance. LIGNA visitors will be able to test the cutting-edge technological innovation that characterizes BIESSE, see how they can get more value from their machines and discover how SOPHIA can revolutionize and simplify their daily work.

Machinery on the stand

Accessory informs us that on the BIESSE stand we will find the CNCs Rover A and Rover Cin different variants, machines for casing, sizing and drilling, package cutting, handling systems. And speaking of handling systems. I recently saw a movie of such a BIESSE system: a robotic arm was putting the cut-to-pack plates into categories. The boards had different sizes and the robot put each one in its category. It was fascinating and I was even discussing with someone that, with a good internet connection, you could cut and stack a warehouse of chipboard or MDF from your armchair at home. Interesting, no?

Robots and a range of solutions for panel handling, software, IoT solutions, digitized services and the best wood processing technologies, you will find them all at the BIESSE stand at LIGNA, along with 300 specialists ready to answer your questions.

The Hanover Fair is a great opportunity to see the latest in woodworking. If you work with wood or wood by-products, are passionate about technology, robots or digitalization, are facing a shortage of manpower and are looking for solutions, go to the fair. You may come back with solutions and ideas. And don't forget the BIESSE news!
