BIFE-SIM 2019 - a foray into the fascinating world of furniture!

Romexpo, in strategic partnership with the Association of Furniture Manufacturers in Romania (APMR) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) organizes, from 12 to 15 September 2019, in Pavilions B1 and B2, the 28th edition of BIFE-SIM - International Fair of Furniture, Equipment and Accessories.

BIFE-SIM 2019

Through BIFE-SIM, Romexpo supports Romanian manufacturers and importers and provides them with an exhibition platform organized to international standards, a space where for four days they present their products and services directly to those interested in purchasing them.

BIFE-SIM is the event that rewrites, year after year, the history of Romanian furniture and brings to the forefront both the technologies and methods of furniture making, as well as the latest concepts and trends.

In 2018, BIFE-SIM gathered around 14,000 visitors and 270 exhibitors from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Switzerland and Turkey, on an exhibition area of 27,221 square meters.

What does BIFE-SIM want to achieve in 2019?

BIFE-SIM 2019

BIFE-SIM has a well-defined sectorization, designed to highlight all players on the Romanian and international furniture market. Therefore, the fair awaits its exhibitors with sectors:

  • Classic Salon;
  • Design Salon;
  • Comfort Lounge;
  • The Kitchen Lounge;
  • Decoration and Lighting Show;
  • Exhibition of Equipment, Machinery, Machinery, Raw Materials and Accessories.

Given the increased interest shown by visitors in recent years in the furniture industry and the growing market, the organizers estimate that BIFE-SIM 2019 will attract around 15,000 visitors.

As a novelty, at BIFE-SIM 2019 smaller companies can also afford to participate by accessing Programme to support the internationalization of Romanian economic operators, with funding from the state budget. They can receive financial support of 25,000 lei for their participation in the exhibition.

BIFE-SIM 2019

The international participation that has already become a tradition at BIFE-SIM shows that the efforts of Romanian companies in recent years to position themselves correctly on the foreign market and the efforts of Romexpo and APMR, as co-organizers, to prepare an event comparable to those abroad, have paid off. At this year's edition of BIFE-SIM we estimate the participation of more than 225 companies, the fair contributing year after year to building strong partnerships between Romanian and foreign exhibitors, representing the starting point for future successful projects.

BIFE-SIM 2019 is not only the place where quality, variety and ingenuity of furniture meet, but also the place to be many related events woodworking demonstrations, interior design simulations, conferences and seminars such as Design Conference, National Design Contest 17th editionraffles with prizes for visitors, specialists and the general public!
