Wood-Mizer launches the EG800 industrial multiblade edging circular saw

Wood-Mizer has launched a new TITAN EG800 industrial circular edger, a truly versatile machine designed to provide a real solution for small to medium sized sawmills requiring more efficient wood processing.

Features of the Wood-Mizer TITAN EG800 multiblade circular saw:
- Quick and easy maintenance thanks to bolt-on sub-assemblies.
- Variable forward speed up to 60 m/min.
- Industrial modular roller.

The main function of this sturdy machine is to shear planks cut by a horizontal cross-cut saw or vertical saw. The machine cuts planks up to 40 mm thick at high speeds, complementing Wood-Mizer's TITAN range of crosscut saws. It can also run at lower feed speeds to cut planks up to 100 mm thick.

The Circular is equipped with four circular blades as standard, but the wide shaft can be equipped with more blades depending on the customer's needs. The automatic feed system of the circular comes factory equipped with an electronic variable feed speed control in the range 0 - 60 m/min. This system is driven by a 30kW motor, or optional 37kW, 45kW, or 55kW motors.

The EG800 Circular can be optionally equipped with lasers to help align planks.
No matter how you use it, this machine is incredibly robust and easy to maintain. A convenient solution, good for any saw!
