Wood-Mizer HR4000 and HR6000 cross-cut saws from the TITAN industrial equipment range

The Wood-Mizer TITAN HR4000 and HR6000 Wood-Mizer Wood-Mizer HR4000 and HR6000 are available in a single-blade or double-blade configuration and provide very fast change of the thickness of the cut plank during the trimming process. Both machines are equipped with a servo-electric positioning system that allows instant size changes.  In less than 0.3 seconds it is possible to change the thickness for each plank (time depends on thickness), even at feed rates of more than 20 pieces per minute (depending on plank length). As a result, optimum yields are achieved, recovering quantities of product that would otherwise have ended up as waste.

An important aspect to note is that it is not necessary to sort the material before processing on these machines.

Both TITAN HR4000 and TITAN HR6000 saw models are equipped with robust feed systems. The in-feed and out-feed chain conveyors provide a rigid surface that can receive and transport the material cut through the cutter head in large and consistent quantities. The upper in-feed and out-feed rollers ensure that the material is properly guided through the cutting head resulting in a precision cut end product.

Using 101 mm or 152 mm wide blades, the TITAN HR4000 and HR6000 saws are capable of feed rates between 60 and 80 m/min. Infeed widths are 430 mm or 450 mm
