Description and technical data

The Lohmeyer NCB 3010S is a sturdy and easy to use CNC drilling machine. It is very useful for furniture manufacturers, especially of chipboard and MDF. Joining panels requires many holes, both vertically and horizontally (on the edges), and the CNC can do them all at the same time. This translates into significant time savings and perfect joints. Another time-saver comes from transmitting the information to the computer. The equipment is designed to be connected to furniture design and manufacturing software, and the simple and easy transmission of information eliminates double work.

Workpieces with a width between 50 and 1000 mm, a minimum length of 300 mm and a thickness between 10 and 50 mm can be machined on the CNC. Simultaneous holes are drilled on 5 faces - the 4 side edges and the back of the plate. Drilling up to a depth of 60 mm is possible with burs with a maximum head diameter of 35 mm, 10 mm shank and 4000 rpm. There are 18 vertical and 2+2 working units in both X-axis travel and Y-axis travel. The travel speed of the working units is between 5 and 70 m/min on the X and Y axes and the V axis vertically and between 5 and 25 m/min on the U and Z axes vertically.

For a good and long-lasting operation of the drills an efficient exhaustion system is necessary. This is provided by 125 mm diameter tubing and a 250 mm diameter top hood. The minimum air velocity is 28 m/s and a minimum air flow of 4,950 m³/h is required for the exhaustion to work.

The dimensions of the machine are 3,150 x 2,200 x 1,7 m and it weighs 2700 kg.
