Wood-Mizer introduces the LX250 wide plank saw designed for customers who need to cut massive planks up to 138 cm wide. Joining Wood-Mizer's world-renowned range of narrow band saws, the LX250 is the second largest capacity saw offered by the company, joining the popular WM1000 saw capable of cutting 170 cm diameter logs.
Designed in the USA and manufactured in Poland, the LX250 is a rugged saw with electric cutter head controls for ease of operation, adjustable presetting for quick and precise blade height control, and a 138 cm (42") kerf width for cutting wide boards.
An important innovation in Wood-Mizer's LX range of saws is the rigid frame tower that supports the control panel, motor and saw head. Designed to allow superior width and depth of cut, the LX frame rests on the double hardened steel rails of the saw bed and allows the operator to have superior visibility during machining.
