Wood-Mizer launches the LX250 saw

Wood-Mizer launches the LX250 wide plank saw designed for customers who need to cut solid planks up to 138 cm wide. Joining Wood-Mizer's world-renowned range of narrow band saws, the LX250 is the second saw in terms of capacity size offered by the company, alongside the popular WM1000 saw capable of cutting 170cm diameter logs.

Designed in the USA and manufactured in Poland, the LX250 is a robust saw with electric saw head controls for ease of operation, adjustable presets for fast and precise blade height control, and a 138 cm kerf width for cutting wide boards.

An important innovation in Wood-Mizer's LX range of saws is the rigid frame tower that supports the control panel, motor and saw head. Designed to allow for superior width and depth of cut, the LX frame rests on the double hardened steel rails of the saw bed and allows the operator superior visibility during machining.

Wood-Mizer LX250 saw features

- 140 cm diameter logs with a maximum width of cut of 138 cm and a length of 4 m
- Optional bed extension available, each module 1.85 m long
- Electric cutter head up/down & forward/backward movement with double feed chain system
- Plank thickness adjustment presets with fast and precise control of the plank height
- 38 hp petrol engine or 15 hp three-phase electric motor
- Designed in the USA, built in Poland
