Wood-Mizer launches MP220 profiling, planing, sawing machine

Wood-Mizer's MP220 woodworking machine efficiently combines three operations - profiling, planing and sawing - in one unit, saving time and reducing costs for operators and carpenters.

The MP220 Wood-Mizer profiling, planing, sawing machine is designed to produce items such as flooring, panelling, crown profiles, wide planks, etc. in less time and at lower cost.

Featuring a horizontal cutting head and a single circular blade, cutting and planing on the MP220 you can make in one go. The processing knives provide a maximum profiling depth of 20 mm, with maximum planing dimensions of 240 mm high and 410 mm wide (with saw blade removed).

The top cover covers the saw blade for safety and the operator can easily adjust it. With a maximum cutting height of 75 mm, material feed on the table is even and safe.

There is a control unit above the feed table, which allows easy operation of the MP220. The ergonomic handle allows setting the thickness of the planing / profiling by adjusting the height of the cast iron table. A lever helps to position the material for cutting.

Two electric motors (3.2 kW / 4.4 hp) provide a rotational speed of 6000 rpm, achieving a smooth surface on finished products while consuming less energy and generating less noise.

The MP220 has a fixed feed speed of 5 m/min (ECO version) or a variable feed speed of 2-12 m/min (PRO version).

Two sawdust extraction ports one above the lid and the other below the cast iron table help keep the work area clean.

Light in weight (195 kg) and compact, the MP220 can be equipped with transport wheels for quick movement and convenient set-up on the job site.
