KDT presents automatic drilling line at Xylexpo 2024

At this year's fair Xylexpo, KDT Machinery presented to visitors the automatic drilling line with integrated robot. In an exclusive interview, David Zhang Weitao, representative of KDT Machinery, gave interesting details about this automatic system. Video at the end of the article.

The heart of the automated line is the 6-sided drilling machine, capable of speeds up to 120 meters per minute. Automation comes from the integration of a robot that manages the feeding and unloading of parts. This combination enables high productivity of up to 200 pieces per hour.

An important aspect of the system is its flexibility. Customers can opt for different configurations, from a single machine to a fully automated line. Moreover, the system can be upgraded over time, allowing the addition of robots or conveyors at a later stage.

David emphasized KDT's top position in the drilling machine segment, highlighting the speed, reliability and superior quality of their equipment. An advantage pointed out is the technical assistance offered, including remote support and the possibility to upgrade software according to specific customer requirements.

In terms of software integration, the KDT system stands out for its versatility. It can process a wide range of file formats, including .bpp, .cix, .mpr and .dxf, facilitating integration with third-party systems and ensuring compatibility with various existing workflows.

This automatic drilling line from KDT represents a major step towards Industry 4.0 for the woodworking sector, offering an optimal combination of productivity, flexibility and technological integration.
