  • EUDR: Europe's new shield against global deforestation - The European Union has adopted the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), an ambitious piece of legislation aimed at reducing the impact of European consumption on global forests. The EUDR introduces a due diligence system for companies importing products such as timber, coffee, cocoa and palm oil. Although the US and China have expressed concerns, the regulation promises to transform global supply chains. [link]
  • KDT presents automatic drilling line at Xylexpo 2024 - At Xylexpo 2024, KDT Machinery impressed with its automatic drilling line with integrated robot. The system, capable of processing up to 200 parts per hour, offers flexibility in setup and upgrade.   • Polish foresters' protest spreads - The national protest of Polish foresters, scheduled for July 12, 2024, is gaining momentum with the joining of representatives of the timber industry.
