EUDR: Europe's new shield against global deforestation - The European Union has adopted the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), an ambitious piece of legislation aimed at reducing the impact of European consumption on global forests. The EUDR introduces a due diligence system for companies importing products such as timber, coffee, cocoa and palm oil.
