In response to the growing demand for battery-powered outdoor machinery and equipment, Wood-Mizer is proud to introduce the industry's first portable bandsaw. The innovative lithium-ion battery-powered saw provides a convenient alternative, giving users a consistent, reliable and high-quality wood cutting experience. Available on the popular LT15WIDE model, this revolutionary bandsaw allows woodworking enthusiasts and forestry professionals to already benefit from the future of fully portable wood cutting.

Designed for performance and efficiency

Building on the solid design principles of the LT15 range, the new LT15 battery-powered saw integrates state-of-the-art features including smart power supply, on/off functions and an upgraded Setworks control system with enhanced capabilities. Similar to its predecessor, the LT15CLASSIC WIDE, the battery-powered version processes logs up to 90 cm in diameter, while its modular bed allows logs up to 5.4 meters in length to be cut. The new saw is available in stationary and mobile versions.

With multiple power options including gas, diesel, electric and now battery, the LT15WIDE bandsaw offers the versatility to meet the needs of any user. The new battery-powered option stands out as the perfect choice for those looking for ease of use and reliable performance, with the added bonus of a greener and quieter wood cutting experience.

Battery power for maximum convenience

LT15 battery saw comes with four powerful 1.4 kWh lithium-ion batteries, allowing several hours of continuous operation. A standard quick charger, compatible with any 230V/50Hz household socket, makes recharging the batteries easy and convenient. The saw can be configured with up to six batteries for extended use, providing an impressive 8 hours of autonomy, depending on the type of wood and cutting requirements. The battery system meets stringent safety standards, including protection against vibration, thermal shock and short circuits, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Innovative features for smarter debiting

At the heart of the LT15 battery-powered saw is the revolutionary Smart Power Feed technology, which automatically adjusts cutting speeds according to wood type, log size and blade condition. This advanced system provides real-time data and optimizes the cutting process for maximum efficiency. In addition, the upgraded SW-B control panel features an automatic self-diagnostic module to monitor key technical parameters and inform the operator of battery charge levels, power consumption, and motor and battery temperature.
