Wood-Mizer's new EG350 multilama from Wood-Mizer premiered at BIFE-SIM 2024

At this year's BIFE-SIM international trade fair, held in Bucharest-Romania, Wood-Mizer came up with a long-awaited prototype: the EG350 multi-blade EG350. This state-of-the-art machine comes to meet the growing demand for the processing of large wood materials, offering an innovative and efficient solution for the industry.

Enhanced features for maximum productivity

Marius Frățilă, representative of Wood-Mizer Romania, presented the new EG350 multilama, highlighting its features:

- Capable of processing material up to 100 mm thick, a significant improvement on the previous EG300, which was limited to 60 mm.
- Two 400 mm diameter circular sails, one of which is movable, individually driven by powerful electric motors of 8 kW each.
- Electronic setting control system for increased accuracy and productivity.
- Variable feed speed from 0 to 20 meters per minute, controlled via a mobile control panel.
- Maximum cutting width 400 mm and minimum width 6 cm.
- Minimum board length of 110 cm.

Advanced technology for greater efficiency

The EG350 retains elements appreciated by Wood-Mizer customers, such as the laser guidance system and intuitive control interface. Enhancements include larger feed drums, which allow for processing of sizable materials.

"Until now we didn't have an answer for customers who wanted to process material between 60 and 100 mm thick. With the EG350, Wood-Mizer now offers the perfect solution for this niche", explained Marius Frățilă.
