At the recent BIFE-SIM edition in Bucharest, we had the opportunity to chat with Matefy Csaba, representative of Szolvegy Vegyipari SRL, a company that stands out in the Romanian industrial landscape for its ability to respond promptly to the ever-changing demands of the adhesives market.

Szolvegy Vegyipari has come an impressive way in the last two decades. From modestly selling just one ton of glue in its first year of operation 20 years ago, the company now sells between 100 and 120 tons of glue every month. This consistent growth not only reflects the company's expansion, but also its remarkable ability to adapt and anticipate customer needs.

Today's market imposes strict conditions: low stocks, fast delivery, high quality and competitive prices. To meet these challenges, Szolvegy Vegyipari has developed an efficient distribution network, which includes four of its own trucks, specially equipped to transport adhesives in optimal conditions over distances of up to 500 km from Târgu Mureș.

The company has always been attuned to market trends, demonstrating a remarkable ability to reinvent itself. While in the past the focus was on formaldehyde-free products suitable for children's furniture, now the focus has shifted to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. Szolvegy Vegyipari has responded to this challenge by developing an innovative 'Green Bond' range of products, including adhesives with 5%, 15% and even 25% biomass, paving the way for future market demands.

These innovations position the company as the Romanian market leader in the field of eco-friendly adhesives, offering its customers the opportunity to align themselves with the latest international sustainability standards.

In the spirit of continuous innovation, Szolvegy Vegyipari does not stop here. The company is now extending its product range to the paper and board industry as well, developing specialized products such as caulking adhesives and solutions for the manufacture of special boxes.
