Sortilemn has completed a new investment

Sortilemn Gherla has completed a new project to improve operational and environmental performance in the finishing of curved plywood seating components by reducing the consumption of specific materials, we learn from gherlainfo.ro.

It is a CNC-controlled centre and an automated spray varnishing line. "Three machines used to do as much as one does now," said general manager Marius Giurgiu at a press conference held Monday at Sortilemn headquarters, gherlainfo.ro reported.

The project, "Greening the process flow for molded elements at Sortilemn - Green Industry Romania", is co-funded under the "Innovation in Green Industry" programme concluded with Innovation Norway as operator of the programme, supported by funding from the Government of Norway through Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014.
