Achieve superior performance with the Wood-Mizer LT70 WIDE saw - now optional with WIDE cutting head and WIDE blades

Wood-Mizer introduces new options, these consist of the WIDE cutting head and 50 mm WIDE blades on the LT70 hydraulic saw with superior performance.

For wood processors requiring higher capacity, the LT70 is now available with the WIDE cutting head to cut large logs, planks and wider prisms. The WIDE cutting head increases the maximum cutting width to 86 cm.

In addition, the LT70 can now be configured with the WIDE beltless flywheel to use 50 mm WIDE blades. The wider handwheel and 50 mm blades can be ordered for any of the normal or WIDE cutting heads.

The Wood-Mizer's new saw options thus increase the cutting capacity for those who require additional cutting widths and cutting performance specific to wide-web saws.

Cutting capacity of the LT70 WIDE saw:

Maximum log diameter 105 cm
Maximum cutting width 86 cm
Maximum prism width 78 cm
The length of the log depends on the length of the bed:
- 4.8 m - bed S
- 6.1 m - bed M
- 8.4 m - bed L
