New machines at LIGNA 2019! Wood-Mizer planing / profiling machines

At LIGNA a wide range of Wood-Mizer planing / profiling machines was presented for the first time. The machines were dedicated to small and medium sized workshops and allow owners to take a step forward by adding a profiling operation to the process of converting planks into finished wooden articles.

The Wood-Mizer range of planing / profiling machines on show at LIGNA included the MP160 thickness straightener and planer that simultaneously straightens and planes planks; the MP200 planer/profiling machine capable of straightening and profiling wood on two sides in one pass; The highly reliable MP260 and MP360 four-side planing/ profiling machines, the MF130 multi-functional vertically movable spindle profiling machine with up to 270 degree tilting range and the MS300 precision circular saw with high cutting capacity and 45 degree blade tilting angle.

New at Ligna 2019! LX50 and LT15WIDE saws for beginners

Alongside the well-known LT70, LT40 and LT15START professional saws, Wood-Mizer presented the entry-level LX50 and the LT15WIDE model with 90cm diameter log processing capacity for processors looking to get started with minimal equipment investment.

New at LIGNA 2019! EA3000 and EG800 multi-blade circular edger models

Several years ago, Wood-Mizer introduced the new TITAN line of industrial processing equipment. At this year's LIGNA show, the TITAN line was represented by three models: the WB2000 wide band saw WB2000, characterized by its extremely rugged construction, extremely resistant to heavy working conditions, low maintenance requirements and efficient operation; the EA3000 edger EA3000, whose sensors allow it to scan boards and obtain a maximum amount of lumber of different widths; and the EG800 high-capacity multi-blade multi-saw EG800, a robust machine that grinds the edges of boards up to 100mm thick at high speeds.

Visitors to LIGNA were also shown the Wood-Mizer range of saw blades and knives, which included saw blades for multi-blade saws, ripping, slicing and circular saws, planing and profiling knives, as well as narrow and wide band ribbon saw blades. With over 2000 items in stock, this ever-expanding range covers every application and specific customer requirement in terms of cloth sizes and profiles.
