Went to Ligna to see the CNC offer and came back with a Lohmeyer

"The CNC was my dream since I was working in Pipera" - that's how Aurel Ivan from Bella Design, when I asked him about the recently purchased Lohmeyer CNC. He is very excited about it and seems to have finally realized his dream. He has always worked in furniture and since he left the Pipera furniture factory almost 20 years ago, he's been making custom, bespoke furniture. It was at Pipera that he first saw the CNCs - older, not as powerful as today's - but he was still impressed by what they could do.

Lohmeyer CNC wasn't the first computerized machining center he'd owned. He first "got his hands" on a home-made CNC he got from a friend. Although it was underperforming, he could still do a lot of machining with it, which reinforced his belief that the next step was to buy a professional CNC. That's how he came to Danibrum. He saw the Lohmeyer CNC in the warehouse, he liked it, he discussed it with Ionuț Soroceanu, the head of the technical department, but he stayed to think about it. He thought to see others, to be able to make a comparison and so he ended up last year at Ligna.

From Ligna he came back with a CNC Lohmeyer

He went to Hanover and together with a friend based in Germany, also a woodworking enthusiast, visited the fair at length. He went to all the stands and saw all kinds of high-performance CNCs. But he was not only interested in the machine's capabilities but also in the after-sales service offered by the company.

He liked the CNC on the Lohmeyer stand right from the start. She talked to the German representative about what it can do, how powerful it is, found out where Lohmeyer CNCs are manufactured. At one point, the Lohmeyer representative told him that a specialist who could give him a full presentation in Romanian could come immediately. After a few minutes, Ionuț Soroceanu from Danibrum showed up. He immediately understood that he would have no problem with the after-sales service. He ordered the CNC immediately, and when it was delivered to Bucharest, Ionuț Soroceanu put it into operation. He still calls him whenever he needs advice or technical information. He trusts him. You can see for yourself by watching the video at the end of the article, made at Bella Design.

Danibrum - Lohmeyer partnership

Even if you already have a name in the market, as Danibrum does, teaming up with a strong partner helps you to increase the quality of your services and strengthen your position in the market. Danibrum had been distributing Lohmeyer machines on the Romanian market for some time, but since 2019 the partnership with the German company has become even closer. Last year, at Ligna, Lohmeyer IQ invited Danibrum as a partner at the fair, thus formalizing its position as a reliable partner for the Romanian market. Such a partnership means solutions designed specifically for Romanian manufacturers, strategies developed based on the characteristics and requirements of the Romanian market and the provision of fast, efficient and professional service.

The presence of the commercial and technical department in Lohmeyer's stand was a good strategy for business development on the Romanian market. Potential buyers understood that, in Romania, they are talking to a partner that can offer the same commercial conditions as the German company. Moreover, the existence of a technical department on which they can rely, which can be contacted at any time and which can be spoken to in Romanian, convinces many of them. Like Aurel Ivan.

Strategies and solutions for the Romanian manufacturer

After Ligna, Lohmeyer developed with the Romanian partner a series of strategies and solutions adapted to the Romanian manufacturer. A great emphasis was placed on training Danibrum's technicians to commission the machines at the customer's premises and ensure quality service.

The two big problems of the Romanian manufacturer are lack of labor and time. The lack of manpower is solved by purchasing high-performance machinery. When it comes to time however, there is very little willingness to wait long periods for installation or maintenance. This is why training technicians to come to the manufacturer's aid as quickly as possible was the number 1 solution in the strategy. 1-on-1 trainings were organized in-house at Lohmeyer, regular visits were made to the headquarters in Tauberbischofsheim, Germany, for detailed consultations. Now Danibrum technicians are ready to offer specialized and customized services.

The large number of trained technicians in Germany means that Danibrum can always organize three teams to go into the country to service customers. There is also a full-time service team that can solve problems that may arise for various reasons in a short time. At Danibrum there is a close-knit team with experience in the field and seniority in the company that provides quality service to everyone.

The existence of the partnership allows a close link between the management teams of the two companies so as to ensure advantageous pricing policies, balanced and oriented towards the sustainable development of Romanian business.

Danibrum's experience makes a good match with Lohmeyer's innovative industrial woodworking and wood-based paneling machinery. Such a partnership helps the Romanian manufacturer, whether it is the owner of a custom furniture workshop like Bella Design or a large factory producing furniture for export. Buying high-performance technology solves the problem of both labor, consistent quality and reduced working time. And a fast, efficient and quality service solves the inherent problems in production, building customer loyalty.
