RCEA Communiqué on the XIV National Conference

In 2017-2020, the methodology for calculating the energy performance of buildings was revised and after 31 December 2020 all new buildings must be built to the nZEB requirement (updated Law 372/2005). These two issues imply a commitment to further training of building energy auditors and a market ready to understand and demand an appropriate quality of services in this field.

In addition to reduced energy consumption, the aim is to increase user comfort and involvement in decision-making by implementing intelligent information and control equipment. In addition, as outdoor air quality has become a pressing issue, buildings equipped with green terraces and/or renewable energy equipment can be a solution to the problem. By putting quality of life first, we are all responsible for any effects that may alter its sustainability from the new or existing built environment.

We invite you to join us for a constructive dialogue. The annual AAECR National Conference on Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) is an excellent opportunity for the experience and expertise of all stakeholders to overcome barriers in developing strategies and implementing solutions specific to Romania.

The proposed topics are as follows, without excluding other interventions of interest:

1. The recent Romanian legislative framework on the CSP and the responsibilities of the actors involved.

2. Sustainable technologies for the construction of new/existing nZEB buildings.

3. Intelligent systems in buildings and utility networks.

4. Case studies corresponding to the models addressed in European and national legislation.

5. Complex and motivational approach to energy certification of buildings.

6. Relevant aspects of the work of building energy auditors and the advantages of working with industrial energy auditors and local energy managers.
