BIFE-SIM 2022 – International Furniture, Equipment and Accessories Fair - the event dedicated to the furniture industry in Romania and abroad - will take place from 22 to 25 September at Romexpo.
The event is divided into thematic sectors: classic furniture, design, comfort, decoration, lighting fixtures, equipment and presents design elements with the styles, colours and materials of the year, as well as smart applications and solutions that ensure the comfort of a home. 103 renowned companies from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Turkey, representing the furniture, interior design, machinery and equipment industry, participate in the event with the most inspiring projects and a multitude of considerable discounts. This year's edition has an internationalisation rate of 17%.
The fair promotes the sustainable side of the industry and the idea of eco home decor. Refurbished furniture pieces and décor items using recycled or eco-friendly materials are top of the list this year. Also, pieces inspired by the natural environment and extreme minimalism dominate customer demands.

To bring representative companies in the furniture industry face to face with the authorities, Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association organises the conference HOW TO SAVE THE ROMANIAN FURNITURE AND WOOD PRODUCTS INDUSTRY. The event will take place on Thursday, 22 September 2022 - 10:00, at Virgil Madgearu Hall, 1st floor, Pavilion B3, Romexpo and will mark the 30th anniversary of Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association.
At the event,ILBAH workshops organises a series of free, practical workshops. Interested visitors will learn how to make a floral arrangement for home décor, discover the basics of an architectural programme and how to make a 3D rendering of a space they have designed. They will also be able to attend dedicated workshops where they will be introduced to the rules of designing a kitchen or home office.
Moreover, at BIFE-SIM 2022specialists from ILBAH workshops will also organise an interior design conference with the theme "The art of living in harmony with your space. Holiday at home!", in which well-known architects will discuss current topics of interest to the sector, interior design trends and ways of arranging a home, taking into account both the art of design and the functionality of space. It will take place on 24 September, starting at 10:00 in the Madgearu Room in Pavilion B3 of the Romexpo. Registration can be done on www.ateliereleilbah.ro.
